RSS-2000 Vehicle
Barriers are Non Hydraulic and All Electric.
They operate on any available power and in harsh
climates without any special operating assistance that
is required with pneumatic or hydraulic systems. |
|
Installation is easy and can be
completed in just one day if necessary. Installation
requires a shallow 24" excavation (9'x12') to set the
self-contained barrier into. Conduit and drain
connections are easily made with factory installed bulk
head fittings.
|
 |
 |
| With the conduits and drain lines
installed simply place 4 yards of concrete around the
perimeter of the barrier flush with the existing
roadway.
|
|
|
| In just a few hours the barrier is fully
operational. In case of a major malfunction or power
outage, the bollards can be raised manually or used with
a 12-volt battery back-up system. The entire unit is
corrosion resistant with hot dipped galvanizing and has
an anti skid top surface. |
|
|
| Single Lane Installations: A single
RSS-2000 with a fixed barrier spaced 1.2m on either side
will give you a 4.9m clear opening. This is an ideal
size opening for cars and large trucks. |
|
|
| Multiple Lane Installations: In
applications where you require larger openings or
control of more than one lane, the RSS-2000 can be
installed with a 1.2m separation between the two units.
This application works effectively for multi-lane
conditions and it allows the user to control individual
traffic lanes as needed. |
