INEX offers the InSignia4 Lane Controller designed and manufactured by Zamir Recognition Systems.

Zamir's advanced “All-in-One” License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, the Lane Controller, is a fully integrated device comprised of the imaging sensor, long life LED infrared illuminator and a rugged dedicated microprocessor.  Zamir’s field proven LPR engine and their patented Virtual Vehicle Detector are also incorporated into the system.

A complete InSignia 4 LPR System consists of one or more networked InSignia Lane Controllers.  An InSignia 4 Lane Controller becomes an integral part of the customer’s network and can easily integrate with third party applications, or operate as a stand-alone unit.

Some of the important features of the Insignia 4 Lane Controller:

• Continuous Image Capture
  InSignia 4’s continuous image capture generates multiple images for each event, boosting recognition rates and reliability over traditional one-shot LPR systems.
• Long-life, Day and Night Illumination
  InSignia 4 introduces its proprietary Intelligent Illumination Unit (IIU), a synchronized, long-life, LED-based illumination system available in a variety of wavelengths from invisible IR to visible light, to meet the particular requirements of each application.
• Virtual Vehicle Detector^©
  InSignia 4’s revolutionary Virtual Vehicle Detector (patent pending) detects vehicles without the need for external detectors — operating with equal effectiveness for front or rear image capture.  The Virtual Vehicle Detector saves infrastructure costs.  InSignia 4 also supports external hardware and software triggers where required.
• LPR Recognition and Processing Power
  At the heart of each InSignia 4 Lane Controller are Zamir’s proprietary algorithms that combine multiple approaches for analysis to achieve the highest recognition accuracy.
