• Opening/Closing Soft Stop – Opening/Closing Soft Stop is a feature in which the control board, during the easy set up process, learns where your opening and closing points are for the swing of the gate. Then during normal operation the gate operator automatically slows the motion of the gate to smoothly meet with the gates destination point.
• Advanced Gear System - The gear system is one of the most important parts of a gate opener; it influences power, control, reliability, and the life span of the motor. The Sentry Swing uses a planetary gear system cutting down on bearing wear and motor deterioration.
• All Weather Compatible - This arm can handle the cold, heat and everything in between. The arm has no exposed shafts that can become iced over. The housing is a durable powder-coated die cast aluminum body, which gives it greater stability and strength. The bottom also comes fitted with a dust blocking strip to prevent dirt from entering from the bottom.
• One Touch EZ Programming – The Sentry Swing can be programmed by simply pressing one button. The control board is built to be inherently intelligent and learns the opening and closing times automatically. There are no manual adjustments on the arm need to be made!
• Highest Level of Safety – The Sentry Swing automatically reverses directions when it comes in contact with an obstruction and  has the safest method of controlling safety devices. All safety devices are set up on a Normally Closed circuit. Some gate openers are set up on a normally open circuit. What this means is that the Sentry Swing is virtually fail-safe. If a safety device does not activate for any reason the Sentry Swing will not operate, keeping your loved ones and assets safe. Gate Openers with safety devices set up on a Normally Open connection will operate with the disabled safety device and the consumer will not know the safety device is inactive until it is too late!
• Quick, Safe and Secure Manual Release – Every unit comes with a key chain ready manual release key. In the rare case power has failed and the back up battery is not charged, the manual release key can be used to safely open your gate without damaging your opener arm or disconnecting anything from your gate.
