Applications

The wireless Wiegand can be utilized in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Residential applications such as apartments, condominium complexes and single-family homes with entry and exit access points can quickly and easily be secured using the Wireless Wiegand system. 

The multiple access points (such as doors, gates, etc.) of commercial and industrial buildings can be easily controlled via card readers, keypads and radio receivers without the need of costly trenching and wiring. Each Remote Mate controls a single remote Access Point. Remote Mate communicates wirelessly with the Controller Mate to complete the connection to the system controller.

Functional Description

• The “Remote Mate” is designed to seamlessly mate with any generic Wiegand device such as:
  • Card readers

  • Radio receivers
  • Doorking “Tracker” boards

• Each “Remote Mate” controls a single remote Access Point.
• Every Access Point is assigned a unique Access Point Number using rotary switch.
