The microcontroller-based Overhead Door Photoeye NIR-100 detects obstacles in commercial overhead doors, rolling doors and any weather protected installation. Delivering the high reliability associated with a thru-beam configuration, the NIR-100 immediately indicates the presence of an obstruction. Unlike retro-reflective types of photo eyes, the NIR-100 does not provide false indication when encountering highly reflective surfaces on a vehicle. The NIR-100's exclusive LENS-LESS design eliminates issues such as fog, condensation or focusing often associated with lenses - ensuring trouble-free operation.
A green alignment indicator on the receiver provides status information at a glance, making set-up and alignment easy. A heavy-duty bracket and cover protects the transmitter and receiver from damage.
